The project included the resurfacing of La Mirada Boulevard from University Drive / Oakwood Lane to Alondra Boulevard; the installation of new handicap curb access ramps; and the removal and replacement of damaged curbs, gutters and sidewalks. Traffic signal improvements included a signal addition and signal modifications including adding a fully-protected, left-turn signal from La Mirada Boulevard to Alicante Road. Work also included concrete, new paving, rubberized asphalt, ACR&R and base.
CALTROP’s services included construction management, program management, field inspection, contract administration, scheduling, cost control, materials testing, surveying, enforcing permit requirements and coordination with utility agencies and agency co-op agreements and provisions.
