CALTROP Communications is currently providing outreach services for OCTA’s I-5 South County Improvement Project from Avenida Pico to San Juan Creek Road. This 5.7-mile project will improve mobility in South Orange County by adding a carpool lane in both directions of the I-5 freeway and reconstructing the Avenida Pico interchange in San Clemente.
CALTROP Communications is working with OCTA to manage outreach on the project including implementing a robust Public Awareness Campaign, providing meeting support and staffing, collateral development, construction communications and a creative social media campaign. A unique feature to this project is the text messaging service implemented by CALTROP Communications. It is the first of its kind on an OCTA freeway improvement project, and is being used as a pilot program for future projects.
